Wes & Jami Baker, from New Braunfels, serve with Peru Mission in Trujillo, Peru. They have seven children–five live in Peru (Noah, Abby, Katheryn, Olivia, and Millie) while two are in the U.S. pursuing their education (Lauren and Cullen). Wes serves as a minister in the Iglesia Presbiteriana Cristo Rey in Trujillo, trains pastors and church planters in the seminary, and helps with the mission’s strategic planning. Jami is actively involved in the women’s ministry in our churches and serves alongside Wes in hospitality to Peruvians, visitors, and team encouragement as well.
Peru Mission is a strategic facilitator of urban church planting and Christian community development in Peru. It plants churches, raises up Christian leaders and develops transformational institutions. These vibrant, reformed churches are actively involved in bringing God’s justice, mercy, and peace to the world around them.
Over the years, All Saints has sent a number of groups on mission trips to Trujillo, has helped to send a one-year intern from Austin to Trujillo, and has developed relationships with some of the missionary families serving there. All Saints began financially supporting the Baker family in 2012.
